AUSTIN, Texas - Members of the Lamar track and field wrapped up their week at the 88th Nike Clyde Little Field Texas Relays on Friday morning at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Dominique Taylor finished her 100-meter hurdles with a 14.56 mark and finished 52nd. Morgan Snow of Texas was the top runner of the preliminaries with a 13.20 mark.

Blake Johnson and Trey Burton both competed in the 110-meter hurdles and finished 43rd and 57th, respectively. Johnson finished his heat on a 15:28 mark and Burton on a mark of 16:03. Justin Thompson, from Clemson, qualified with a top time of 13.89.

Both Chanissey Fowler and Sarah Shim took part in the women's 100-meter dash. Fowler timed in a 12.38 and placed 77th while Shim finished in 12.48 for 88th place. Trey Davis wrapped up the LU runners in the men's 100m and finished 61st on an 11.05 mark.

Five runners also competed on Thursday.

Verity Ockenden and Alexandra Sokolova took part in the 800-meter run, and finished fourth and fifth respectively. Ockenden timed in at 2:10.04 and Sokolova at 2:16.74. Ockenden was one-tenth of a second from third place and 55-hundreths from second place. Kendra Chambers, unattached, took the championship on a 2:06.57 mark.

Evelyn Chavez was took ninth place in the 1500-meter run on a time of 2:16.74 on Thursday, and was just over a second from eighth place. Lilian Koech of UTEP won the event after she marked at 4:32.03. Chavez was scheduled to run in the 5000-meter, but was scratched.

Both Tobias Riker and Stuart Ferguson competed in the men's 1500m, and took eighth and 10th, respectively. Riker beat his season best, set last week at the Louisiana Classics, on a 3:56.20 time. Ferguson marked in at 4:07.32.

Anthony Rotich (UTEP) won the event with a 3:46.58 time.
