What: A volunteer team comprised of some of our biggest & passionate supporters that includes Cardinal Club members, season ticket members and letter winners. This group will be tasked with helping LU staff connect with LU fans, supporters, alumni, and community members to ultimately drive new memberships for the Cardinal Club, season tickets, L-Club, and Kids Club.
Who: Volunteers will be selected through an application process as well as personal requests from LU staff. The target number of volunteers recruited is 12-15.
When: Influencers will hold their volunteer position for a full year from July 1 – June 30.
Why: Word of mouth and referral marketing are powerful and effective tools to help grow awareness and engagement. Having a team of influencers will help us gain access to networks of fans, alumni, and community members that aren’t always readily accessible through email, social, or direct marketing.
Point System
10 points for every new Cardinal Club donation
10 points for every new season ticket membership
10 points for every new L-Club membership
10 points for participation in the call hour events
5 points for every Kids Club membership
1 point for native social media post
1 point for every 5 referrals
Rewards
50 points - Under Armor shirt, video board recognition
100 points - Olympic pass
150 points - gift card (dinner at restaurant)
200 points - boosted to "Letter Winner" level or if already above that to the next club level
250 points - Season ticket upgrade
300 points - Under Armor item ( pullover, team gear)
400 points - Presidents suite invite
500 points - Autographed ball
700 points - Dinner with a head coach and AD
1000 points - framed jersey, plaque
