LU (301-297—598) finds itself one stroke behind Drake and Utah Valley, which are tied for seventh.
The Cardinals had eight birdies and 57 pars in the opening round.
Montana Di Leo made three birdies while
Kamaya Moodliar tallied one birdie and 14 pars in the first round.
Moodliar began the back nine with seven consecutive pars.
Six of the eight birdies came on the front nine.
Moodliar finished at even par (70) after she shot two under par on the back nine in the second round.
She tallied three birdies and 13 pars, which included a bogey-free back nine.
Moodliar made 11 straight pars in the second round to finish tied for ninth overall.
Karolina Krasova and
Brooke Frerichs each had two birdies in the second round.
Amanda Davidsson, who is competing as an individual, came away with three birdies.
Davidsson finished even par on the back nine while Frerichs shot even par on the front nine.
Bowling Green leads the tournament (282-285—567) with a three-stroke lead over second-place South Dakota State.
There is currently a three-way tie for first place on the individual leaderboard between Northern Colorado's Timbre Shehee (68-72) and Jaci Hartman (70-70) along with Bowling Green's Macie Elzinga (71-69).
