BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Lamar University women's golf finished the first day of the Lady Clerico in ninth place after carding a total score of 617 (309-308) on Monday at Hillcrest Country Club.
Karolina Krasova shot two-under-par on the front nine during the second round as she made back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes.
Krasova finished the first round making six straight pars on the back nine.
The Cardinals had eight birdies in the second round, 13 for the whole tournament.
Amanda Davidsson tallied a pair of birdies on the front nine on the first and seventh hole during the second round.
Aaniyah Bhola also carded a pair of birdies during the second round on the back nine at holes 12 and 18.
LU made 109 total pars, 56 of which came during the second round. The Cardinals made the fifth-highest number of pars at the tournament.
The Cardinals have a one-stroke lead over Northern Iowa.
Abilene Christian leads the tourney with a total score of 581, currently holding a one-stroke lead over Southern Mississippi.
Ryan Honea of Abilene Christian sits atop the individual leaderboard with a two-round total of 137 (67-70). She holds a two-stroke lead over Northern Colorado's Timbre Shehee.
