UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — Behind a solid showing, Lamar University finished 10th after the final round of the Redhawk Invitational on Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Course.
The Cardinals finished with a total score of 880 (295-297-288), seven shots behind ninth place UC San Diego.
Filip Widepalm had an eagle on the first hole as he went on to tally four birdies and 11 pars to finish four-under-par (68) for the round.
Nathan Woodham tallied four birdies and 11 pars to shoot one-under-par (71) for the day.
LU finished with 15 birdies, nine came on the front nine.
St. Thomas (Minn.) (284-293-279) and UC Riverside (292-288-276) finished tied for first with a total score of 856.
Matt Armstrong of St. Thomas won the individual title with a total score of 206 (69-71-66), finishing two shots ahead of George Mason's Vaughn McMeans in second.

Luc Gavagnin and
Fermin Martinez wrapped up the Spring Indy on Tuesday at Dornick Hills Country Club.
Martinez carded a score of 83 in the final round to finish with a total score of 230.
Andersson had the lowest score of the final round by LU with an 80 while Gavagnin shot a score of 84.
