COLUMBIA, Mo. — Teams were able to complete at least 33 holes before play was suspended due to darkness during Monday's second round of the Tiger Intercollegiate at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
Lamar University sits in 18th place among 19 teams with a total score of 569 (286-283).
The Cardinals recorded 17 birdies and 50 pars in the opening round.
Nathan Woodham led LU in the first round, finishing at one‑under‑par 69. He shot four‑under on the front nine, carding four consecutive birdies along with five pars.
David Schneider Jerez and
Matthew Bramford each played the front nine at even par, combining for three birdies.
Schneider opened his round with six straight pars before adding three birdies on the back nine.
Filip Widepalm and
Rory Bennet both finished the back nine at even par, combining for four birdies. Four of the five Cardinals birdied the 17th hole.
Before play was halted in the second round, Lamar totaled 10 birdies along with 47 pars.
Widepalm paced the Cardinals, recording five birdies and eight pars for a score of 65 through 17 holes. He finished the back nine at even par with two birdies and five pars.
Woodham made six pars and one birdie on the front nine and stood at even par with one hole remaining when play was suspended. He closed the back nine with five consecutive pars.
Missouri holds the team lead at 503 (279–224), owning a 13‑stroke advantage over Nebraska.
Individually, Missouri's Veikka Viskari leads the field, holding a 10‑stroke edge over Ben Gratzl of Oral Roberts.
