HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Lamar University women's golf wrapped up the final day of competition at The Judson tied for seventh Tuesday afternoon at Hattiesburg Country Club.
The Cardinals posted a total score of 917 (303-304-310) to finish alongside Belmont.
Karolina Krasova narrowly placed outside of the top 20 as she finished tied for 21st with a total score of 224 (73-74-77).
Krasova tallied eight straight pars on the back nine as she had 14 pars for the round.
"I have to say I'm quite happy with this tournament. I had solid scores the first day and I'm happy with my overall finish," Krasova said. "I can't believe that my time at Lamar is almost over and I'm excited to fight for the championship this spring."
Kamaya Moodliar finished one under on the front nine with two birdies and six pars. She began the front nine with five straight pars.
Moodliar finished with 12 pars in the final round.
Aaniyah Bhola tallied three birdies, two of which came on the back nine.
The Cardinals finished the competition with 168 pars made, the fourth most made by any team.
Lucy Bedford stepped out onto the course for the first time this fall. She finished the final round with eight pars. She strung together four in a row on the front nine.
"I was disappointed with my scores for my last fall tournament, but it was great to compete alongside the team, and I look forward to getting after it in the spring and, of course, at the conference championship," said Bedford.
Southern Miss and Tulane finished tied for the top spot with a total score of 851. Southern Miss, the tourney host, shot a final round low score of 283 to fight its way back to the top.
Ultimately, it came down to a playoff that went favor of Southern Miss.
As for the individual leaderboard, Taylor Trible of Southern Miss (72-69-70) and Tulane's Francesca Pompa (67-75-69) each finished tied for first. Trible won the invididual title after coming out victorious in a playoff.
