Men’s Golf Heading South to Laredo for Border Olympics

BEAUMONT, Texas - Lamar University men's golf team resumes their spring season as they once again travel down south for their second tournament. This time, they will stop in Laredo for the Border Olympics hosted by the University of Houston.

This tournament will take place at the Laredo Country Club, which is a par-72, 5785-yard course. Starting on Monday, the two-day tournament composes of three rounds with the first two taking place on the 19th and the last round on the 20th. 

Along with UH, LU is one of 17 teams in this tournament, including Abilene Christian, Bowling Green, Houston Christian, Illinois State, Lipscomb, Miami (OH), Michigan, New Mexico State, North Texas, Rice, Sam Houston, Troy, ULM, Western Carolina, and Wright State. 

Competing in this tournament for LU will be Carl Hardin, Nathan Woodham, Pedro Marin, Jacob Lindh, and Guillermo Estivill
