Mossy Oak Round Two Suspended Due to Darkness

| By:
WEST POINT, Miss. - Lamar's men's golf team along with everyone else had a later start because of the course conditions at the Mossy Oak Collegiate hosted by Mississippi State. Because of this, the Cardinals were only able to get one round in before play was suspended for due to darkness.

As a team, LU shot 296 strokes in the first round. Carl Hardin finished with an even 72 strokes while Hugo Hellman, Guillermo Estivill, and Pedro Marin picked up 73, 74, and 77 strokes respectively. While Estivill will need to finish his round along with everyone, he managed to record an eagle on the par-five fifth hole.

The Cardinals will finish their second round tomorrow morning and they will start their third round afterwards.
