DALLAS, Texas – The Lamar University men's golf team fell one spot to 10
th on day two of the Trinity Forest Invitational after they carded a 17-over par 301 in round two, bringing their total card to a 29-over par 597 for the event.
Sophomore
Hugo Hellman paced the Cards on day two as he sits in a tie for 23
rd with a card of five-over par 147 (74-73). Hellman is tied with Brian Choe of Abilene Christian, Grayson Blunt of Sam Houston, Rodrigo Martin Miranda of Rice, Paul Chaplet of Sam Houston and Logan Pate of Little Rock.
Following Hellman is freshman
Pedro Marin after he carded a two-over par round two and owns a total card of seven-over par 149 ( 76-73) and sits in a tie for 32
nd. Junior
Juho Kurikka follows Marin with a total card of an eight-over par 150 (73-77) and sits in a tie for 43
rd with Jacob Skov Olesen of TCU.
Junior
Nikolai Schaffrath carded a day two score of 78 (+7) and sits in a tie for 51
st with an overall score of a 10-over par 152 for the event. Rounding out the Cards is sophomore
Dino Capazario who sits in a tie for 63
rd with an overall card of a 14-over par 156 (75-81).
The Cards will be back on the course in the morning at 9:15 as they will tee off from the 10
th hole at the Trinity Forest Golf Club.
