BEAUMONT, Texas - Denis Ermilov registered the only point for the Lamar University men's tennis team in a 6-1 Southland Conference loss to visiting UTSA on Saturday.

Ermilov claimed a 7-6, 6-3 victory over Max Stratmann at No. 4 singles. With the win, Ermilov improved to 11-7 on the season. Lamar fell to 11-8 overall and 0-3 in the conference, while the Roadrunners boosted their overall mark to 11-6 and their conference record to 3-0.

Lamar returns to action at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10, with a conference match at Texas-Pan American.
