CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Lamer University men's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a 4-1 loss to UT Pan American in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament on Friday.

Denis Ermilov registered Lamar's only victory, posting a 7-5, 6-3 win over Marcus Dornauf at No. 4 singles. It was the 14th win of the season for Ermilov, putting him in a tie with Marton Horvath and Diego Snyder for the team lead.

Lamar finished with a record of 13-11, its first winning season since 1997.
