HOUSTON, Texas - The Lamar University men's tennis team closed out its Southland Conference season with a 4-1 loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday.

Marton Horvath registered the only win for Lamar (11-10 overall, 0-5 conference) with a 7-6, 6-3 win over Duje Jancic at No. 5 singles.

The doubles matches were not played.

Lamar will take on Texas-Pan American in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Corpus Christi.
