BEAUMONT, Texas — David Schneider Jerez and Nathan Woodham were named to the Southland Conference All-Conference team, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.

Schneider earned first-team honors while Woodham was selected to the second team.

In his four-year career, Schneider has now earned all-conference recognition twice, previously being named second team in 2025.

He competed in 33 rounds during the season, totaling 2,377 strokes and posting a team-best 72.0 scoring average.

Schneider recorded a team-high 17 rounds at par or better and posted his best 54-hole score of 206 (70-67-69) at the Sandestin Collegiate Classic in Miramar Beach, Fla.

He finished the year with five top 20 finishes, including three top 10 results and one top five finish.

During the fall season, Schneider led the team with a 70.6 scoring average and followed with a 72.8 average in the spring.

His best finish of the year came at the Golden Nugget Invitational in Lake Charles, La., where he tied for fifth.

He also posted the lowest round of the season, firing a 63 in the second round of the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette.

Schneider was named Southland Conference Co-Golfer of the Month for March, marking the second Golfer of the Month honor of his career.

Woodham competed in 33 rounds, totaling 2,415 strokes for a 72.8 scoring average, and recorded 15 rounds of par or better.

His best 54-hole finish came at the Golden Nugget Invitational, where he carded a 209 (68-69-72).

The Cardinals captured the team title at the Golden Nugget Invitational, setting a new program record for a 54-hole tournament with a score of 823 (274-271-278), surpassing the previous mark of 825 set at the 2007 Southland Conference tournament.

The victory also marked the program's first spring tournament win since March 2016.

Woodham logged his lowest round of the season with a 67 at the Border Olympics in Laredo, where he also produced the team's top finish, tying for fourth.

This marks Woodham's second Southland Conference honor of his three-year career, having previously earned Freshman of the Year honors during the 2023-2024 season.
