CHOUDRANT, La. — Competing as an individual,
Toby Peters had a bogey-free day during the second round of the Argent Financial Classic on Monday at Squire Creek Country Club.
Peters finished two-under-par on the front nine before he made 11 straight pars to finish the back nine at even-par, giving himself a score of 70 for the day.
He is now tied for 13th place at four-under-par.
David Schneider Jerez shot three-under-par on the back nine, making four birdies to finish at one-under-par (71) for the day.
Matthew Bramford tallied five birdies to also shoot one-under-par (71) for the second round.
Nathan Woodham carded a score of 72 to finish the day at even-par as he made seven straight pars on the front nine.
The Cardinals shot a collective score of 585.
South Alabama (282-279) sits in first place with a five-stroke lead over Southern Mississippi and Rice.
Joshua Hill of South Alabama has a total score of 137 and is currently in a three-way for first with Houston's Hudson Weibel and Southern Mississippi's Matthew Javier.
