David Schneider Jerez locked up sixth place after shooting two under par in the final round of the Sandestin Collegiate Classic Wednesday at the Raven Golf Club.
Lamar University finished 10th out of 13th teams with a total score of 847 (282-282-283).
The Cardinals tallied 18 birdies, 14 of which came on the back nine.
Schneider shot even par on the front nine with one birdie and seven pars while he closed out the back nine with three birdies.
Nathan Woodham shot one under par for the tournament after he finished the front nine at even par during the final round.
Woodham made four birdies on the back nine.
Toby Peters shot one under on the back nine with two birdies.
Fermin Martinez tallied three birdies on the back nine to finish at even par on the final nine holes.
Four of the six players birdied the 17th hole. The Cardinals finished the tournament with 59 birdies.
Middle Tennessee finished in first place with a four-stroke lead over Austin Peay.
Carter Maneth of Middle Tennessee captured the individual title with a total score of 197 (66-66-65), holding a six-stroke lead over High Point's Burch Harrison.
