LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — In a competitive field, the Lamar University men's golf team finished 16th after two rounds of play at the Everett Buick GMC Classic Monday at Chenal Country Club.
The Cardinals finished with 32 birdies and three eagles posting the total score of 594 (292-302).
Matthew Bramford highlighted the first round shooting three under par (69) as he tallied three birdies and an eagle on the front nine. He finished with five birdies in the opening round.
David Schneider Jerez finished the opening round shooting two under on the back nine with three birdies to sit at one under par (71).
LU made 10 birdies on the back nine in the opening round.
Schneider shot even par (72) during the second round with six birdies and one eagle. He closed out the front nine three under par.
Woodham also tallied an eagle in the second round on the 12th hole.
The Cardinals made nine birdies on the back nine during the second round. Schneider made four of the nine.
Little Rock, the tourney host, leads the field with an 11-stroke lead over Southern Miss.
Lipscomb's Minas Manias sits atop the individual leaderboard with a one-stroke lead after carding a total score of 133 (64-69).
