BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University men's tennis team is back in action Thursday after nearly two weeks on the practice courts to compete in the ITA Regional Championships. The annual regional tournament in is Forth Worth, Texas and being hosted by TCU.
The six-day tournament will take place at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on the TCU campus. The tournament – an individual format – with consist of 100 players and 64 doubles team from across the state of Texas.
Considered one of the more competitive regions in the country, the Texas region consists of 15 nationally ranked players with seven of the nation's top-60 tandems. The draws have not been released as of print time but fans can follow along with the updated results by clicking
