BEAUMONT, Texas – With the summer months just around the corner, Lamar University head men's basketball coach
Alvin Brooks has released the dates for his youth summer camps. Brooks, and the Cardinals, will be hosting two camps with the first one taking place June 13 – 16 (Monday – Thursday), 2022, followed by the second session running from June 20 – 23, 2022 (Monday – Thursday).
The camps are for rising 1
st graders through seniors in high school. The four-day sessions are $185 per camper and will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day ( 9 a.m. to noon Thursday). A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
Discounts are available for those who want to attend both summer sessions and for LU employees.
The skills camps will include fundamental sessions and skills development with the LU coaching staff, 1-of-1 and 3-on-3 sessions, along with shooting contests. The cost of the camp will include a camp ball and T-shirt and lunch will be provided each except for Thursday.
