Â
LU vs UT Arlington, L, 4-1
Â
Playing in front of a raucous crowd at the Thompson Family Tennis Center, the Cardinals jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but a slow start in singles play wound up being costly as the Cardinals dropped a 4-1 decision to UT Arlington Sunday afternoon. "We did a great job in doubles, but doubles and singles were two different things," said LU head coachÂ
Scott Shankles. "In singles, we fell behind on every court right from the beginning."
Â
Following this weekend's action, the Cardinals will hit the road and travel to UT Rio Grande Valley (Feb. 26) followed by a match at Fresno State (Feb. 29).
