TULSA, Ok. -- This weekend, Lamar University heads to Tulsa, Okla. to compete in the ITA All-American Championships. This will be a three-tier tournament consisting of prequalifying, qualifying and main draws. Lamar will be taking four players with them to Oklahoma to compete in a field of 128 players. The 128-team field will consist of players from some of the top teams around the country.

Sebastian Santibanez will be looking to build off solid play a few weeks ago in Corpus Christi. He will be looking to play another strong tournament during the fall season. A few Cardinals will be starting their season off in Tulsa. Juniors
Carlos Paton Canal and
Nicolas Mayr are looking to start of the 2019-20 in strong fashion. In addition to the previously stated LU trio, the Cardinals will also be sending sophomore
Axel Vila Antuna who was one of the Southland's top rookies a year ago.

The Cardinals will start their tournament in the prequalifying bracket on Saturday, Oct. 5. The tournament will run through the 13
th of October. The tournament will serve as the final tune-up for a Red and White squad that will be hosting its lone fall tournament of the year beginning Friday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 13. The Ron Wesbrooks Invitational will be held at the Thompson Family Tennis Center.
