BEAUMONT, Texas – Tuesday's Texas State at Lamar University non-conference softball game was canceled due to wet grounds. The game will not be rescheduled.
 
The Cardinals (22-21 overall, 12-6 Southland Conference) return to action when they travel to Lake Charles, La., this weekend for a three-game SLC series against conference-leading McNeese. The teams are slated to play a single game at 6 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader at 4 p.m. Saturday. LU's next home game is 4 p.m. April 25, as the Cardinals host the No. 13 Baylor Bears.
