BEAUMONT, Texas – Just a week after kicking off the fall season at Northwestern State, the Lamar University women's tennis team makes a return trip to the state of Louisiana to compete in the UL Lafayette Invitational. The two-day, individual-format style tournament will take place at the Cajun Courts on the UL Lafayette campus.
The tournament field will consist of the Ragin' Cajuns, LU, Southern Mississippi and Battle of the Border rival McNeese. Singles competition is set to begin at 8 a.m. Friday with doubles matches to follow.
The Cardinals are coming off a strong opening week that saw several singles players advance to their respective flight finals to go along with one doubles' team. Junior
Arina Gudovskaya brought home singles title and then teamed up with freshman
