BEAUMONT, Texas - Lamar University will conclude its preseason schedule by heading east Saturday to take on LSU in the second of two exhibition contests. The game will take place at the LSU Soccer Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m.
In their first action of the season Monday, the Cardinals blanked Blinn College 3-0 at the LU Soccer Complex.
Riley Wilson,
Lauren Smith, and
Erin Dull each scored while Big Red fired 30 shots and conceded only four.
Eloise Bywater started in goal and tallied one save while she and
Maddie Rich combined to post the shutout.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2022, when the Cardinals took on LSU in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
