COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Elijah Jackson returned to the NCAA West Regionals Friday, hosted by Texas A&M. Competing in the men's high jump, the Austin native cleared 2.09 meters (6-10.25) to finish tied for 18th, just missing out on the NCAA Championships.

Grouped in the first flight, Jackson had the 10th-highest mark. He began by clearing the first two rounds of 2.04m (6-8.25) and 2.09m on his first jumps. However, he was unable to get over 2.14m (7-0.25) in three attempts, which would end his season.

Jackson completed his senior season with seven top three finishes in 10 meets. He set an indoor personal record of 2.16m (7-1) at the Howie Ryan Invitational while he was ranked 25th nationally outdoors with a season-best 2.13m (6-11.75), which earned him a gold medal at the Southland Conference Championship meet. In addition, he earned a bronze medal at the conference's indoor meet.
