After Dagan's heartbreaking exit, sophomore
Louis Drapeau got the Red and White on the board with his straight-sets decision over Abilene Christian's Ford Elizondo. Following a close first set, 7-5, Drapeau cruised to the victory with a 6-0 decision in the second.
After receiving a first-round bye, sophomore
Fabian Anthin was dominant throughout in his set against UT Rio Grande Valley's Will Roberts. Anthin posted a 6-1, 6-2 win. He will now face UTRGV's Ivo Isqueiro in Saturday's third round of action.

Lukas Hamacher added to the Cardinals' win total with his 6-3, 6-4 decision over UTRGV's Eduardo Niederle de Abreu e Menezes.
