BEAUMONT, Texas – Similar to the Lamar University men's tennis team, the Cardinal women are also back in action just a week after opening the 2023 fall campaign in Corpus Christi. Big Red travels to Natchitoches, La., Friday to compete in the Northwestern State Lady Demon Collegiate Invitational. The three-day tournament is an individual-format event that will consist of several flights of singles and doubles.
The tournament includes five teams – NSU, Lamar, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Mississippi and Tyler Junior College.
Tournament play will begin Friday at 8:30 a.m. All matches will take place at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex in Natchitoches.
