BEAUMONT, Texas – Natalia Turczuk has signed a National Letter of Intent to play tennis for and continue her education with Lamar University announced head coach David Wong Tuesday morning. Turczuk makes her way to the Golden Triangle from Wroclaw, Poland.
 
Winner of numerous Polish national tournaments, Turczuk was an ITF Juniors J5 finalist, and advanced to the semifinals the previous year. During the 2022 season, Turczuk also advanced to the U18 national singles quarterfinals.
 
Turczuk was ranked as No. 919 U18 junior according to the ITF World Junior rankings in 2022, and before that was ranked among the top 500 players in Europe as a U16 player. Her success on the court was recognized at an early age when she was considered as the No. 232 rated U14 junior player in Europe (July 2018).
 
Within Poland, Turczuk has climbed as high as No. 15 in the national rankings and is currently ranked 40^th overall. As a U14 player, she climbed as high as ninth nationally.
