BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University women's tennis team returns to action Saturday to open the Joe Pyburn Memorial Invitational. The two-day tournament serves as Lamar's lone home tournament of the fall season and will consist of Lamar, UTSA, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Sam Houston.
Matches will begin both days at 9 a.m. with doubles competition. Singles matches are expected to get under way approximately and hour later. All matches will be played at the Beaumont Municipal Tennis Complex.
