BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University women's tennis team is in Fort Worth, Texas Friday through Monday competing at the ITA Regional Championships. The four-day regional tournament will consist of all NCAA Division I teams from the state of Texas.
 
The ITA Championships is a tradition fall tournament where players compete on an individual basis. Results for the 2022 ITA Texas Region Championships can be view by clicking HERE.
 
For the Cardinals, the regional tournament will serve as the second competition in a very busy fall schedule. The Cardinals will travel to North Carolina to open October at the All-American tournament, before hosting the Joe Pyburn Memorial Tournament – which is the Cards' lone home competition of the fall semester.
 
Big Red will close out the month with a return trip to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (A&M-Corpus Christi Open) and Huntsville, Texas for the Sam Houston Invitational.
