AUSTIN, Texas - In the first of two meets this week, the Cardinals traveled down to Austin for the Texas Relays. While they faced off against stuff competition, Lamar did put up a few top-10 results over the two days they were there.
Both top-10 finishes came from the 3000-meter steeplechase on Thursday. Yazmin Austridge posted a sixth place finish with a time of 10:35.12.
Declan Neary would do one better in the men's portion as his time of 9:01.77 was good enough for fifth place.
The Cardinals will turn their attention to running at the Victor Lopez Classic in Houston.
