BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University's three-game series against UIW has been altered due to the threat of rain in the Golden Triangle Friday evening. The Cardinals and UIW have agreed to move Friday's doubleheader to Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. (second game getting under way at 5 p.m.). with a solo game on Sunday. First pitch for Sunday's game will be at 1 p.m. All three games will be played at the LU Soccer Complex.
The series against the Southland's other Cardinals was originally slated for a Friday doubleheader. The three-game series will wrap up an eight-game homestand for the Red and White.
