BEAUMONT, Texas – The ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic has postponed yet another set of games for a Lamar Athletics program with this time softball being affected.
The Cardinals were slated to Texas Southern in doubleheader action on Tuesday, March 16
th, but due to a positive COVID-19 case and subsequent contact tracing within the Tigers program. Both programs will look to reschedule the contests at a later date.
The Cardinals will be on the field next when they host their Southland home opener as they are set to welcome Texas A&M-Corpus Christi from Friday, March 19
th to Saturday, March 20
th. Friday's first pitch times are set for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. while Saturday's contest is set for 12 p.m. at the LU Softball Complex.
