BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University has scheduled dates for its inaugural Cardinals Coaches Tour. The tour, which will provide fans, alumni, season ticket holders and students an opportunity to meet Big Red's coaches and to participate in Q&A sessions. The tour will begin in July and run through mid-August and will consist of five stops. The tour will consist of lunch stops and early evening stops.
 
The 2019 Cardinal Coaches Tour will begin Tuesday, July 16^th at the Neches River Wheelhouse in Port Neches (6-8 p.m.) followed a stop in Houston two nights later (6-8 p.m.). The first August stop will take place in Lumberton Tuesday, August 6^th at Tia Juanitas (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.). The Big Red crew will make the trip over to Orange Thursday, Aug. 8 for a two-hour stop at First Financial Bank (6-8 p.m.) before closing things out in Beaumont. The final stop will be at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Dowlen Road. The Beaumont stop will take place Thursday, Aug. 15 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
