FRISCO, Texas - Lamar University had 113 student-athletes recognized on the Fall 2025 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, announced league officials Tuesday afternoon.
To be nominated for the Commissioner's List, student-athletes must have (1) maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average throughout the semester and (2) be eligible to compete in a conference sport during the 2025 fall semester. Of the 113 student-athletes, the Cardinals had 39 with 3.5 or higher and 23 with a 4.0.
Football finished with 60 student-athletes on the list. The cross country teams combined for 18, with 12 coming from the men and six from the women. Soccer finished with 21 student-athletes, while the remaining 14 were part of the volleyball squad.
