WACO, Texas – Lamar University's Hanna Elfving saw her amazing run at the ITA Regionals come to an end Saturday as she dropped a marathon match to Texas Tech freshman Reagan Collins in the Round of 16 of the consolation bracket.
 
Elfving saw Collins take the first set 6-4 before the LU senior responded by winning the second set 6-3. Elfving gave it her best shot, but Collins prevailed in the decisive set by a 10-4 score to claim the match.
 
The ITA Regionals marked the end of the fall season for the Cardinals.
