The Lamar-Buffalo baseball game scheduled for 4 p.m. at Vincent-Beck Stadium Monday has been canceled due to heavy rains in the southeast Texas region. The forecast also called for the rain to continue most of the night.

Lamar (9-4) will open a six-game road trip at Louisiana-Monroe (7-4) on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday's game will begin at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday's is scheduled for a 3 p.m. first pitch.
