Lamar University Athletics

Shayna Sarisky joined the Lamar University sports medicine staff in July 2023 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Her primary coverage will be with the Cardinal women’s volleyball team.

Sarisky is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Nutrition through Lamar University. She is a nationally certified athletic trainer and a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Texas.

Sarisky graduated from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. As an undergraduate student she worked primarily with men's volleyball, football, and at local high schools. She is originally from Columbus, Ohio.
