Emily Durham

A former standout at Wofford, Emily Durham is entering her first season on staff as a graduate assistant coach with the Cardinals. The Raleigh, N.C. native comes to the Golden Triangle after spending the previous four seasons at Wofford as a letterwinner on the volleyball team.

A standout in the classroom, as well as on the court, Durham played in 106 matches during her career, totaling nearly 370 sets. The Terriers won more than 60 games during her four seasons on campus, including a 22-win season in 2017. She amassed nearly 600 digs, more than 60 service aces and 50 kills in her four seasons in Spartanburg.

Durham received her bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics in May 2021. Durham was signed by Wofford after a standout out prep career at Middle Creek High School in Raleigh. A two-time all-conference selection, Durham garnered first-team all-league honors as a senior on the indoor courts, and was named North Carolina's Offensive Player of the Year (2015) and was a two-time team MVP in beach volleyball.
