2016 (Senior): Played in seven games earning six starts … Completed 71-of-123 (.577) passes for 975 yards and five touchdowns … Was picked off only twice during the year … Carried the ball 38 times for 244 yards and three touchdowns … Was a near perfect 16-of-19 (.842) for 211 yards and a touchdown at Abilene Christian … Followed that up by earning Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week Honors for his efforts in the team’s thrilling last second victory over Northwestern State … Completed 29 passes for 412 yards and four touchdowns against the Demons, including the game-winning TD as time expired … Also carried the ball six times for 63 yards against Northwestern State … Carried the ball 11 times for 79 yards and two touchdowns against Southeastern Louisiana … Had only two carries against Sam Houston State but finished the game with 72 yards rushing and a score.

2015 (Junior): Played in eight games earning three starts … Worked his way into the starting role before an injury at Southeastern Louisiana hampered the rest of his season … Completed 42-of-78 (.538)  passes for 576 yards and seven touchdowns with only two interceptions during the season … Also carried the ball 32 times for 320 yards and two touchdowns … Completed 14-of-25 passes (.560) for 223 yards and four touchdowns in the victory at No. 3 Sam Houston State … Also carried the ball five times for 59 yards against the Bearkats … Followed that up with eight completions for 143 and a touchdown at Southeastern Louisiana before leaving the game due to an injury … Also ran the ball four times for 20 yards against the Lions … Opened the 2015 season with a 5-of-6 (.833) performance for 91 yards and two touchdowns against Bacone College … Carried the ball a season-high eight times for 86 yards and a touchdowns at Houston Baptist … Added another rushing touchdown the following week against Nicholls.
   
Junior College: Earned starting role midway through freshman season ... Completed 60-of-118 (.508) passes for 814 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie ... Also carried the ball 25 times for 143 yards and a score as a freshman ... Completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,011 yards and 19 touchdowns in his final season at Navarro ... Also recorded 72 rushes for 477 yards (6.6 ypc) and seven touchdowns in 2014.
