2022 (Freshman): Utilized his redshirt season … Back up deep snapper who also took reps at tight end.

High School: Two-time first-team all-region selection at tight end ... Four-year letterwinner ... Guided prep squad to a state title ... Received interest from Texas, UTSA, Presbyterian and Valparaiso among others. 

Personal: Son of former NFL kicker, Phil Dawson, who spent 21 seasons in the NFL.
