FRISCO, Texas – Lamar University seniors Kamryn Harvey, Keely Thomas and Riley Wilson have swept the Southland Conference weekly awards following their contributions to a 1-0 shutout victory over UT Rio Grande Valley Thursday to open league play. It marks the first career weekly honor for all three players and the first such awards for the Cardinals this season.

Harvey (Cypress, Texas) was named the Offensive Player of the Week after she scored the match-winning goal with 10 seconds remaining, which is a new school record for the latest goal scored. It also marked her third consecutive game for which she found the back of the net.

Thomas (Richmond, Va.) took home Goalkeeper of the Week honors by recording her second shutout of the season, collecting a season-high five saves. One of those saves came in the 87th minute when she deflected a Vaquero shot away from the top middle of the goal. She currently leads all SLC goalkeepers in goals-against average (0.43) and save percentage (.900).

Wilson (Round Rock, Texas) anchored a Cardinal defense that held the Vaqueros to 11 shots. She also registered a shot just seconds before the game-winning goal was scored. It marked the sixth time in eight matches this season that she wasn't subbed off.

The Cardinals have produced 12 Southland Conference Players of the Week during head coach Nathan Kogut's tenure. Lamar last swept the conference's weekly awards in 2023 when Arely Alaniz (defensive), Cariel Ellis (offensive) and Nicole Panis (goalkeeper) earned honors following the program's historic upset of then-No. 17 Xavier.

LU hits the road Thursday for a matchup against Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m., and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.
