Lynch and Radakovic Additions

Men’s Basketball Finalizes Roster with Two Backcourt Additions

| By:
BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University head men's basketball coach Jordan Fee has finalized the 2026-27 men's basketball roster and has strengthened the backcourt with the additions of Santana Lynch (6-5, 190, Jr., G) and Filip Radakovic (6-7, 200, Jr., G). Both players come to Beaumont via the portal.

Radakovic comes to LU after spending his first two years at UT Martin where he earned a starting role during his freshmen season. That year he played in 29 games making 19 starts. A versatile athlete, Radakovic scored 95 points, pulled down 102 rebounds, dished out 29 assists and recorded 20 steals while blocking two shots. He also recorded a double-double and was a near 80-percent free throw shooter.

He also brings extensive international experience to the Golden Triangle having appeared in 18 games against elite competition over three summers (2022-24). He averaged 8.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists during the 2023 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, which came on the heels of him averaging 8.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and dishing out nearly 2.0 assists per game during the 2022 FIBA U18 European Championships.

"Filip is a young man we are really excited to add to our program," said Fee. "He brings a combination of toughness, skill and versatility that fits exactly what we want to be about at Lamar. He has the ability to impact the game in a number of ways. Filip has proven himself at this level and most importantly, has won at this level. We're thrilled to welcome him to Beaumont."

Lynch – the son of former National Champion and NBA standout George Lynch – comes to Lamar from Hampden-Sydney where he lettered each of the past two seasons. A high school standout out from the state of North Carolina, Lynch was a key factor in helping lead Lake Norman High to a 28-3 (.903) overall record and a spot in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4A State semifinals. He averaged 14.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.8 steals during his senior season on his way to all-district and all-conference honors before being invited to paly in the NCCA East-West All-Star Game.

"Santana is a really exciting addition to our program," said Fee. "He was an all-league player at Hampden-Sydney College which competes in arguably, the best conference at that level of college basketball. He can make an impact on both ends of the floor, and we believe his versatility will be a big asset for us. Santana is hungry to improve and compete, and we're excited about what he can become here at Lamar."
