Coach Rossomando Radio Show Returns Wednesday, Aug. 27th

| By:
BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University head football coach Pete Rossomando will kick off the third season of his weekly Rossomando Radio Show beginning Wednesday, Aug. 27th at 7 p.m. The show, which airs live each Wednesday on Newstalk 560 KLVI and KLVI.com, has moved to a new location. Through the month of September, fans can attend the show located at The Patio on the back side of the Sheila Umphrey Recreational Center. In October, the show will be moved to its new, permanent location at Spindletop located on Jimmy Simmons Boulevard southwest of the campus.

A full bar and food will be available for purchase each week.

Coach Rossomando will provide fans with an in-depth look at the team through the eyes of the head coach as he recaps the previous game and looks ahead to the Cardinals next opponent. The show will also include special guest interviews as we move through the season. Rossomando will be joined by Voice of the Cardinals, Harold Mann.

Rossomando's start to his Lamar career has been nothing short of historic. He guided the Cardinals to the nation's fourth-best single-season turnaround in year one and followed that up with a second consecutive winning season last year – something Cardinal fans have not seen since 1966 and 1967. When he guides his troops onto the field against North Texas to open the year on Aug. 30th he will do so as the coach with the best two-year start to a Cardinal career.

Big Red's season opener is set for a 7 p.m. kick off from Denton, Texas. The game will be covered live on Newstalk 560 KLVI and streamed live on ESPN+.
