Before Tuesday, Tarleton State was second in the Western Athletic Conference in on base percentage (.398), runs scored (218), RBIs (202), doubles (62), and home runs (36). Farewell Seniors
The Cardinals will be honoring four seniors on Friday. The four seniors who will be recognized are
Rose Gonzales,
Sabrina Jolin,
Mallory Pitre, and
Jayne Sepulveda. Together, the Cardinals have combined to win 52 games, which is the third-best two-year stretch behind the senior classes of 2017 (69 wins) and 2018 (62 wins).
Pitching from the Last Frontier
Jolin, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, has compiled 96.1 innings of work throughout her collegiate career. She needs 3.2 innings to be the fourth all-time Alaskan-born DI athlete to record 100 innings. This would put her in the same club as Nicci Ward (Villanova, 2008), Pauline Tufi (La. Tech, 2017) and Daisy Page (Mississippi Valley, 2022).
