BEAUMONT, Texas - The 2023-24 athletic year at Lamar University is set to begin and fans will be given an opportunity to meet and greet with LU's athletes. This Friday night marks the first regular season sporting event of the year as there will be a Red and White Fan Fest prior to the start of the soccer game.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m at the LU Soccer Complex, fans will meet with the fall sports athletes and take pictures with Big Red. There will also be a student foam pit and more. Then at 7 p.m., LU's soccer team will kickoff their season against Abilene Christian. After the game, the Cardinals will sign autographs.
Season ticket holders should check their emails as they will receive a special offer. Fan fest tickets are $5, which includes admission to the game.
