BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University first-year head coach Pete Rossomando, and the Cardinals, are hosting a National Signing Day event at JW's Patio Wednesday, Feb. 1^st, beginning at 7 p.m. Light food and drinks will be provided.
 
Wednesday is officially National Signing Day, and it's the day that high school standouts can sign National Letters of Intent to play for the school of their choice. The event will give Cardinal fans a first-hand look at Big Red's next generation of stars.
 
Rossomando signed six players – five signees and one junior college transfer – during the early period. The Cardinals will announce their additions to the 2023 class at a press conference at 1 p.m. Wednesday, but fans can get an in-depth look at the class beginning at 7 p.m. from JW's Patio.
