BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University Athletics department is excited to announce Big Red and Lou mascot tryouts for the upcoming 2021-22 athletic season.
Tryouts will be held on Monday, July 26
th inside the Montagne Center on campus and will be conducted from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone interested in trying out must be a current student at Lamar and is eligible for a scholarship if selected as a mascot.
