Baseball vs Rice, TXST Cancel

Games vs. Rice, Texas State Canceled

BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University baseball team's home opener against Rice and the following weekend series against Texas State have been canceled due to positive COVID-19 test results, and subsequent contact tracing, within the program.  
 
The Cardinals will now kick off their season with a midweek contest against Houston on Wednesday, Mar. 3. The game against the Cougars will begin at 6 p.m. from Vincent-Beck Stadium.
