BEAUMONT, Texas- The Lamar University softball team will open up Southland Conference play when they welcome Stephen F. Austin to the LU Softball Complex on March 6-7 with first pitch on Friday scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. (CT) start time.

Hannah Kinkade went 2-for-3 with three runs in the loss.
